Discovery Day 2014, Saturday, April 26
Discovery Day is a key part of the recruitment and assessment process for prospective program participants. This day is a primary factor (along with the student's written application and teacher recommendations) in the ultimate selection of the next First Graduate cohort of seventh graders (as well as backfilling older classes).
Volunteers serve as evaluators, observing students as they participate in activities, conducting student interviews, and providing a brief assessment of each student's candidacy. We rely on volunteers to select a group of students that will succeed and thrive in the First Graduate program.
